The world cup finals of the school-project formula 1 in schools took place in Singapore from 18.-23. September 2010. Pupils are asked to develop and manufacture miniaturized formula 1 cars which are propelled by a CO2-cartridge. The team Aixtreme Racing from Aachen was supported by the Institute of Applied Medical Engineering (AME) and received third place in the overall standings. Additionally, they received the fastest car award and innovative thinking award.
